Man fatally shot following dispute

June 18, 1991

A 30-year-old West Baltimore man died early today about seven hours after he was shot in the stomach during a dispute with a gunman in the 2100 block of Frederick Ave.

Police said Calvin Roundtree, of the first block of Gorman Ave., died at 2:58 a.m. at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

The shooting occurred about 7:30 last night as Roundtree argued with another man. Witnesses told police that as the argument grew heated, the other man pulled out a handgun and shot Roundtree once in the stomach. The gunman then fled on foot.

Police said the victim provided few other details. No arrests have been made.
