Owen R. Henderson

Avid sportsman

Services for Owen R. Henderson, the 200th Eagle Scout in Troop 35, will be held tomorrow at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5300 N. Charles St.

Mr. Henderson, who lived in Cockeysville, died Sunday at University Hospital after an auto accident. He was 24.

He graduated from Towson Catholic High School in 1985 and attended Wheeling Jesuit College in Wheeling, W.Va., and Towson State University. Mr. Henderson, who was self-employed, was an avid sportsman, interested in boating, camping, motocross racing, hunting and skiing.

He is survived by his father and mother, Dennis and Catherine Henderson; a brother, Paul Henderson; his grandmother, June B. Henderson; his fiance, Vicky McMahon -- all of Baltimore; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family suggested memorial donations to Boy Scout Troop 35, in care of the Church of the Redeemer, 5603 N. Charles St.
