Antique Boat Show Slated At Museum

A mix of entertainment will be offered at the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum's Second Annual Antique and Classic Boat Show, scheduled forJune 22 and 23 at Hutchins Park, in Havre de Grace.

Beautifully preserved antique garments and accessories will be modeled each day ofthe show at 1 p.m. The fashion show is the creation of Willa Gaitanis, owner of Encore Apparel in Havre de Grace.

"Turkeys in the Straw," fronted by Doug Richards of Joppa, will present their style of bluegrass music on Saturday afternoon; comic Macabee Jones will entertain the crowd at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, and theBrian Kendig Blues Band of Baltimore will be on stage from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

More than 30 antique power boats and sailboats will be on display in the water and on trailers for the two-day event.

Theboat show is the only one of its kind in the upper Chesapeake Bay area. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults, and children under 12 accompanied by an adult will be admitted free.
