Bronx Man Charged With Possession

A New York man being questioned at the BWI Amtrak station Wednesday tried to escape police as they searched his luggage for drugs, policesaid.

Narcotics detectives seized 10 ounces of cocaine from the shoulder bag of Manuel Tensmendez, 23, of the Bronx, police said.

Detectives began questioning Tensmendez at about 10 p.m., after he got off a train from New York. Police said Tensmendez gave the detectives permission to search his bag, but before they could begin, he began running toward the parking lot.

The detectives caught up with Tensmendez and charged him with transporting cocaine into the stateand possession with intent to distribute.


A Domino's Pizza deliveryman was robbed yesterday morning

while making a delivery in Glen Burnie.

Police said the man was taking a pizza to a home in the 7800 block of Windborne Drive when the robber walked up and showed him the handle of a pistol. The delivery man handed over an undetermined amount of money.

Police described the robber as a black man in his 20s, about 5-foot-6 and weighing 135 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt with a hood and bright blue pants.

7800 block of Woodside Terrace: June 11, entry gained through the window. Foodtaken. Total loss: unknown.


300 block of Tulip Oak Court: June 11, entry gained through the door. Unknown property taken.
