Motorcycle officer hurt in collision

A Baltimore County police officer was injured yesterday when her motorcycle was struck broadside by a car in White Marsh.

Officer Debbie Sider, with emergency lights flashing, was responding to a call shortly after 6 p.m. when she stopped at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Rossville Boulevard until traffic cleared, police said.

Police said Sider was going through the intersection when she was struck broadside by a car headed south on Rossville Boulevard.

Sider, a member of the Community Oriented Police Enforcement unit, was being treated at the Shock-Trauma Unit in Baltimore for injuries, police said.
