Arthur Rhodes has returned to the Class AA Hagerstown Suns' rotation after a month of inaction, but don't expect any complete games from him yet.

The left-hander is on a 50-pitch limit after recovering from shoulder problems and went only 3 2/3 innings in his last outing.

But the results don't indicate any difficulty. In two appearances, he has pitched a total of 6 1/3 innings and allowed one hit while facing 19 batters.

Statistics show how tough Rhodes has been at the start of games this season. The first three batters to face him are 2-for-22 with nine strikeouts and the first nine are 12-for-76 (.158) Overall, he is permitting a .209 batting average.

* MISCELLANEOUS: The team has undergone a raft of personnel changes, with IF Rod Lofton and pitchers Ozzie Peraza and ex-major-leaguer Chris Codiroli going to Rochester and Linskey coming back from the Red Wings.
