Army Reserve Pvt. Aldon E. Murray has completed basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
During the training, students received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and Army history and traditions.
The soldier is the daughter of Joseph J. and Mary E. Murray of Jarrettsville.
She is a 1990 graduate of North Harford High School.
FOSTER ENDS TRAINING
Airman Daniel J. Foster has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs, and received training in human relations.
Foster is the son of Christine G. Ball of Street.
He is a 1989 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School.
BACK FROM MIDEAST
Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jim S. Sumner, a 1978 graduate of Bel Air High School, has returned from deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Desert Storm while serving aboard the guided missile cruiser USS San Jacinto, home-ported in Norfolk, Va.
He joined the Navy in March 1978.
BEL AIR MAN TRAINED
Pvt. Hans-Werner Egerland has completed the mobile subscriber equipment switching system operator course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga.
Students were taught to install,operate and perform maintenance on mobile communication and power generation equipment.
He is the son of Christa S. and Walter O. Egerland of Bel Air.

FUELS SPECIALIST ON DUTY
Air Force Sgt. Mark A. Gray, a fuels specialist, has arrived for duty at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Va.
Gray is the son of Shirley and Brenda C. Gray of Havre de Grace.
He is a 1987 graduate of Havre de Grace High School.
JOHNSON IS IN GERMANY
Army Pvt. Bryant M. Johnson, a food service specialist, has arrived for duty at Giebelstadt Air Base, Giebelstadt, Germany.
Johnson is the son of Victoria M. and James M. Johnson, of Joppa.
He is a 1982 graduate of Edgewood High School.
Air National Guard Airman Gregory B. Arrowood has graduated from the security police specialist course at Lackland Air Force Base,San Antonio.
Students were taught systems security operations, tactics, and weapons handling. Included in the training were base ground defense, and concepts and principles of anti-terrorism.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Arrowood of Joppatowne.
The airmanis a 1990 graduate of Joppatowne High School.
EIKENBERG REPORTS TO VA.
Marine Capt. Bruce R. Eikenberg, son of Claire Eikenberg, of Kingsville, has reported for duty with Headquarters Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Va.
A 1983 graduate of the U.S. NavalAcademy with a bachelor's degree and a graduate of the Naval Post graduate school, Monterey, Calif., with a master's degree, he joined the Marine Corps in May 1983.
NAVY'S ONORATO RETURNS
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Thomas W. Onorato, son of Sharon L. Davis of Edgewood, recently returned from deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Desert Storm while serving with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 126, Naval Air Station, Norfolk, Va.
He joined the Navyin February 1988.

* Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Christopher S. Hazzard, son of Karen A. Edmeades of Jarrettsville, served aboard the aircraft carrier USS America, homeported in Norfolk, Va.
He joined theNavy in June 1990.
* Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class John R. Lambert, son of Jerry and Florence Lambert of Edgewood, served at Fleet Hospital Five, based at Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Va.
A 1986 graduate of Harford Vocational-Technical School, he joined the Navy in August 1987.
* Navy Cmdr. Robert S. Martin, son of Virginia S. Martin of Street, served aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau, homeported in Norfolk, Va.
A 1969 graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., with a bachelor of arts degree, and a 1980 graduate of Providence College, Providence, R.I., with a master of education degree, he joined the Navy in October 1969.
POWELL FINISHES CLASS
Pvt. Gilmer C. Powell Jr. has graduated from the utilities equipment repairer course at Fort Belvoir, Va.
During the course, students were taught maintenance, test and repair procedures for servicing gas turbine engines, heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
He is the son of Gilmer C. Powell, of Bel Air.
