The nation's oldest seaside resort, Cape May N.J., will celebrate its heritage with a traditional Victorian Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts, the free fair will be held on the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate at 1048 Washington St. Numerous booths will be selling antiques, collectibles and handicraft items, and there will be live entertainment, old fashioned games for children and food for sale. Fairgoers can board the free trolley shuttle from the beachfront or Washington Street Mall. Rain date is June 16.
In addition to the fair you can attend an evening performance Saturday and Sunday by the New York Chamber Ensemble. The Concerts are part of the Cape May Music Festival, which runs through July 6. For information, call (609) 884-5404.
