Multiethnic Fun Fest

Join County Executive Robert R. Neall at the sixth annual Family FunFest Multiethnic Fair, 1 to 5 p.m. June 9, at Arundel Center North Plaza.

Admission is free. The entertainment will feature bands, crafts, ethnic food and more.

The event is sponsored by the county Office of Community Servicesand several other organizations.

LEARN HEALTH COVERAGE

The county Department of Aging is seeking volunteers to assist seniors with concerns and questions regarding Medicare/Medicaid statements, coverage and billing.

Michelle Holzer from the state Office on Aging and the Medicare Counseling and Advocacy Program will conduct a three-day volunteer training session at the Pascal Senior Center in Glen Burnie. Training will take place 8:30 a.m. to 3:30p.m. June 24 through 26.

Participants will be asked to volunteer a minimum of four hours a month at one of the five county senior centers.
