Linthicum resident Aris Melissaratos has been named general manager of corporate productivity and quality for Westinghouse Electric Corp.

Previously a manager of the design engineering and manufacturing operations divisions for Westinghouse in Baltimore, Melissaratos has had a career that spans a variety of engineering, operating and program management assignments at the company.

Melissaratos succeeds Jack Fooks, vice president of corporate productivity and quality, who is retiring. Melissaratos joined Westinghouse in 1966, and has been general manager of the operations division since 1985.
