Household Bank Moves

June 02, 1991

WESTMINSTER — Tomorrow, Household Bank patrons will conduct their transactions at the bank's new facility, at 375 N. Center St. in the Cranberry Squareshopping center.

The bank moved from the Carroll Plaza shopping center to its new location at the corner of Center Street and Route 140 on Friday.

"Our move was basically for the consumer," said Wally Daley, branch manager. "Before, we were inside the strip mall and here at the center we're in a free-standing building and have drive-up windows. Customers like that idea."

Hours will remain the same at the new facility -- 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.on Saturday, Daley said.

"The biggest difference is that we are going to have four drive-throughs plus a drive-up for the automatic teller machine," he said. "The ATM will be open 24 hours as well."

Bank employees are planning a ribbon-cutting ceremony for June 20 and an open house for customers on June 29, Daley said.
