New York Islanders -- Traded the rights to RW Alan Kerr to the Detroit Red Wings for D Rick Green and future considerations.


International Tennis Federation -- Fined Marc Rosset of Switzerland $9,000 for violating rules on logo size on a shirt and for unsportsmanlike conduct, and Goran Ivanisevic $1,000 for spitting in the direction of his opponent during a match.
