Baltimore City

CHURCH BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Officials of the Holy Rock Apostolic Church in the 700 block of N. Collington Ave. reported that someone broke into the building over the weekend and stole furniture and sound equipment, all valued at $300. Police said the property was found a short distance from the church and returned to its owners. Police said the intruder got in through a second-floor window after climbing a drain pipe.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that an employee of Domino's pizza in the 3800 block of E. Lombard St. was making a delivery in the 1800 block of E. Fayette St. Saturday night when he was stopped by two men who knocked him to the ground and robbed him of the two pizzas he was carrying, valued at $15.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- An attendant at the Triangle Shell service station in the 5000 block of Pulaski Highway reported he was forced to give up the contents of the cash register to a man with a sawed-off rifle. Police said the robbery occurred shortly after 1 a.m. yesterday and that the gunman escaped with an undisclosed sum.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Steven Szechowak, of the 2500 block of E. Northern Parkway, told police he was in the 200 block of N. Gay St. early Friday evening when he was attacked by a man who struck him with his fist and robbed him of $200.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that Michael Paulino, of the 7400 block of Poplar Ave. in eastern Baltimore County, was in the 500 block of S. Lehigh St. last evening when a man robbed him of a gold necklace with an emerald pendant, valued at $900.

SHOOTING: Western District -- Police reported that Relydia Bunch, of the first block of N. Wheeler Ave., was shot in the upper left leg early yesterday in the 300 block of Warwick Ave. Police said the man, acquaintance of Bunch, escaped and that Bunch was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she was listed today in good condition.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Tonia McLean, of the 3100 block of Baker St., told police that a man she knows struck her in the head yesterday in the 1900 block of Herbert St. McLean told police the blow dislodged her hearing aid, and the assailant picked it up and fled. Police said the hearing aid was valued at $500.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police reported that Gary Stewart, of the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave., was in the 1100 block of Clendenin St. early yesterday when he was stopped by two men, one with a handgun, who robbed him of a small sum.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Wanda Jefferson, of the 4200 block of Eldone Road, reported she was in the 300 block of Yale Ave. around 1 a.m. yesterday when a man struck her with his fists and robbed her of property valued at $400.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Rhonda Jones, of the 3600 block of Yennar Lane in the Rockdale Apartments in western Baltimore County, told police she was robbed of cash and property, valued at nearly $400, when she was attacked by four men early yesterday in the 3300 block of Bloomingdale Road.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 100 block of Siegwart Lane reported that someone broke into her home over the weekend by forcing the front door and stole two VCRs valued at more than $500.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Police reported that someone broke the front window to get into the Washington Village pharmacy in the 700 block of Washington Blvd. over the weekend and stole property of unknown value.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Police responding to a burglary at the Stock Market bar in the 3500 block of S. Hanover St. entered the building and arrested a man who had broken in by chopping a hole in a wall. Police said the man was arrested before any property could be stolen and that officers recovered several tools used to break into the building. Police said the man was held overnight in the station lockup pending formal charges of burglary and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Police reported that someone broke into the Frank W. Winne & Son Co. building in the 1500 block of Ridgely St. through a rear door over the weekend and stole a microwave oven of undetermined value.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Sherrie Marshall, of the 700 block of Eislen St., reported she was near her home yesterday when a man robbed her of the gold rope chain she was wearing and her cash, all valued at nearly $200.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Thomas Dore, of the 4100 block of Falls Road, reported he was near his home shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday when he was attacked by several youths who robbed him of his sweater, valued at $60.

THEFT: Northern District -- James Rush, a resident of Parkville, reported he was in the 200 block of Homeland Ave. over the weekend when someone stole more than $100 from his pocket.
