Beverly Burgess Frankenfield, at age 61

Beverly Burgess Frankenfield, a former personnel officer at Anne Arundel Community College, died at her Severna Park home Friday of cancer.

She was 61 and had lived in Severna Park for the last 18 years.

Services for Mrs. Frankenfield will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Towson United Methodist Church, Hampton Lane and Dulaney Valley Road, Towson.

She was a personnel officer at Anne Arundel Community College from 1979 to 1989.

Born in Missoula, Mont., Mrs. Frankenfield earned a degree in speech therapy from the University of Montana in 1951. She moved to Towson with her husband, John, that year.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jay Frankenfield of Cookeville, Tenn., and Dick Frankenfield of Baltimore; two brothers, Dr. John Burgess of Helena, Mont., and retired U.S. Air Force Col. Richard Burgess of Falls Church, Va; a sister, Dorothy B. Allison of Baltimore; four grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.

The family suggested contributions to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, White Marsh; or the P.E.O. Scholarship Fund, Mrs. R.R. McKean, 5 Castlehill Court, Timonium 21093.
