HAMPSTEAD — County school officials will celebrate the first part of a comprehensive computer school network with a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesdayat North Carroll High.
The project will connect Carroll high school students with each other and other schools nationwide via computer. Designers hope to expand the project worldwide.
Money for the project is being provided by the school system, theBoard of Commissioners and the Maryland State Department of Education.
Federal money from the Elementary and Secondary Math and Science Initiative and the Carl Perkins Vocational Act will be used.
