Dixon Back On Kennedy

Service

May 12, 1991

Ronald R. Dixon Jr., of Bel Air, who returned March 28 from a seven-month tour of duty in the Persian Gulf, is back on his regular job with the USS John F. Kennedy, home-ported in Norfolk, Va.

While enjoying an 11-day stay with his family, he was the guest of honor at several homecoming parties. The Navy fireman apprentice also visited third-graders at his former elementary school, Hickory Elementary, to thank the students for the many letters they wrote to him.

He is the son of Susan and Ronald Dixon of Bel Air.
