Got A Way With Words? Summer Fiction Contest

SUMMER IS COMING, SO GET OUT YOUR SWIMSUITS . . . AND YOUR typewriters. It's time for the Sun Magazine's third annual Summer Short Fiction Contest. The winners will be published in our Sunday, Aug. 11, issue.

The contest rules are simple:

Stories must be original and unpublished.

Manuscripts must be typewritten, double-spaced and no longer

than 1,500 words. The author's name, address, daytime phone number and Social Security number must be included.

Only two stories may be entered per person.

No manuscripts will be returned or acknowledged.

Employees of The Baltimore Sun and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Entries must be received at The Sun by 5 p.m. Friday, June 21.
