'Calvin' in reruns

May 10, 1991

Readers of "Calvin & Hobbes" no doubt are experiencing something old, new, borrowed and blue.

What's new is that Bill Watterson, Calvin's creator, has taken a nine-month sabbatical.

What's old and borrowed are nine months of classic Calvins.

Devoted fans of the strip might be blue over having to wait awhile before we can enjoy fresh episodes.

Our feeling here in Accent is that classic Calvins are better than no Calvins at all, but we are interested in your view. Write to Michael Davis, Assistant Managing Editor/Features & Sports, The Evening Sun, 501 N. Calvert St., Baltimore, Md. 21278.
