WESTMINSTER — The Carroll County Farm Bureau is offering two $500 scholarships to students for the 1991 -1992 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants or their parents must be members of the Carroll County Farm Bureau. Applicants also must be enrolled in an agricultural curriculum or be an entering freshman planning an agriculture-related course of study.
Applications may be obtained from Philip Snader, P.O. Box 397, New Windsor, Md. 21776; the Farm Bureau secretary; high school agriculture teachers or the Extension Office.
Deadline for applications isJune 15. Presentations will be made July 28 during the 4-H and FFA Fair as part of the Farm Queen contest.
The Maryland Farm Bureau also is offering three $500 scholarships for 1991 - 1992. Applicants must be full-time college students or entering freshmen intending full-time study at any community college or four-year institution.
One scholarship weill be offered to members or the children of members with a non-agricultural major.
Two scholarships will go to members or children of members taking an agricultural major.
