Town To Vote On Budget

NEW WINDSOR — Council members will vote on the proposed budget at 7:30 p.m. today during the regular monthly session.

Town Clerk Richard M. Warehimesaid he expects the proposed budget, with no tax increase, to be passed with no opposition. The property tax rate is 45 cents per $100 ofassessed value.

Developers of Blue Ridge Manor and Atlee Ridge will address the council this evening. Both developments are in the planning stages.

Micki Smith, county director of public information, also will discuss the benefits of the town's joining the National Historic Trust.
