Baltimore police arrested four people and seized more than $1,600 worth of heroin and cocaine during a raid last night at a house in the 3100 block of West Garrison Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.

The 7:50 p.m. raid by 11 officers yielded $2,500 in addition to 116 bags of heroin and 15 bags of cocaine, said Officer Nicholas Constantine of the Northwest District Drug Unit. He said police had received a tip that drugs were being sold at the house.

Arrested in the raid were: Earl McIntyre, 19, of the 3400 block of Virginia Avenue; Kelly Talbert, 18, of the 3400 block of Virginia Avenue; John Hawkins, 27, of the 4900 block of Denmore Avenue; and Kimberly Coombs, 22, of the 3300 block of West Garrison Avenue.

They were awaiting bail hearings early today at the Northwest District lockup, each charged with possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to distribute heroin and cocaine.
