Woman Reports Rape In Glen Burnie

A 20-year-old woman told police she was raped by a man in Glen Burnie Sunday.

County police said the woman and a friend picked up three men in Baltimore and drove them to Glen Burnie at about 4 a.m.

The woman stopped the car in a wooded area to urinate. One of themen followed her and raped her, police said.

Police said the men left the women, and the victim's friend took her to North Arundel Hospital.

EMPLOYEES CAPTURE SUSPECT NEAR SAFE

A Baltimore man was charged with theft after police said he stole $850 from a Brooklyn Park liquor store.

Police said the man walked into Village Liquors in the 700 block of Church Street at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

He went to aback room and got into a safe where the money was kept.

The storeowner was alerted when he heard a noise and saw the man. Store employees caught and held the man until police arrived.

Roger Hervin, 33, of the 700 block Linnard Street, was charged with theft.

KNIFING SUSPECT SOUGHT BY POLICE

County police are looking for a Pasadena man who they said stabbed another man during a fight at a party at a residence early Saturday.

Arrest warrants have been issued for JohnIssac Hawkins, 18,of the 7700 block Princess Place, charging him with assault with intent to murder.

Police said Vincent J. Oswald, 24, of the 1400 block of Towson Street in Baltimore, was stabbed twice in the chest as he attempted to break up the fight at an Elizabeth Avenue home.

Oswald was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore. He was in fair and stable condition yesterday.

Police searched Hawkins' home Saturday morning, but were unable to find him.
