Lansdowne Woman Fends Off Advances

A 28-year-old Lansdowne woman told police a man she met at a bar Thursday tried to force her to have sex with him.

County police said the two met at about 1:30 a.m. in Renee's Bar on Hollins Ferry Road.

Police said that after talking and drinking, the woman went back to the man's home.

Once inside, police said, the man grabbed her by the back of the head and demanded sex. The woman refused and asked the man to take her home.

When they left the man's home, police said, she ran away and called police.

Police described the man as white, approximately 30 years old, 5-foot 1, with brown hair.
