The art of craft is defined in many different expressions. For the sake of this issue, we introduce craft as a form of modern folk art. Not naive, but stylized. Not simple, but whimsical. A sophisticated grown-up version of a doll's house. A series of garden rooms that serve as a place in the sun for all seasons. Antiques and well-crafted furniture that has benefited from life with generations of families. Even birdhouses, miniature fantasies for birds and people.
