Washington Ballet due at Goucher

The Washington Ballet in Baltimore concludes its season here with two performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Goucher College's Kraushaar Auditorium. Featured both nights will be the Baltimore premieres of Nils Christe's "Quartet 2," Rex Bickmore's "Transformations" and Ray Barra's "Nocturno." Choo-San Goh's "Double Contrasts" concludes the program.

Tickets range from $18 to $25 and can be charged by calling 225-3131, Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets also may be purchased at the box office (cash only) prior to each performance.

Dale Stein's one-woman show, "A Fresh of Breath Air," comes to the Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St., for three weeks beginning Wednesday. Show times are Wednesdays to Saturdays and Sunday, May 5, at 8 p.m., with 3 p.m. matinees on Sundays, May 12 and 19.

Ms. Stein portrays five characters in the show, which takes place at Fifi's Cafe.Ms. Stein has appeared on Garrison Keillor's "American Radio Company" and MPT's "Crabs", as well as at New York's Village Gate and Washington's Cellar Door. Tickets are $10 to $16. For more information call 752-8558.

@ Peggy Fleming heads the cast Friday when the 1991 Tour of World Figure Skating Champions kicks off with an 8 p.m. performance at the Baltimore Arena. Ms. Fleming, a Gold Medal winner at the 1968 Olympics, will be joined by other Olympic and world champions, including Robin Cousins, Brian Orser, Elizabeth Manley, Jill Trenary and Christopher Bowman.
