Boy Held In Break-in At School In Severn

GALESVILLE: — Boy meets dog. Boy loses dog. Dog finds boy.

But it was not a happy ending for a 15-year-old boy, who was charged Tuesday with breaking into Van Bokkelen Elementary School.

Police said officers were called to the school, in the 1100 blockReece Road in Severn, about 12:30 a.m.

Searching the building, Officer T.J. Bathras Jr. and Banshee the police dog spotted someone -- across the hall. The dog gave chase and cornered the suspect.

Theboy was charged on a juvenile citation.


Two Millersville men were charged with possession ofcrack cocaine after police arrested them outside an Odenton bar.

Michael Ray Boudris, 23, of the 8708 block Wayborn Road, and David Stouer, 22, of the 8202 block Shorebrook Court, also were charged with possession of paraphernalia.

Police said two officers were conducting surveillance outside My Place, a bar on Route 175, when they saw two men go inside and then come out a little later.

One of the officers saw one of the suspects put something inside a pipe.

After the officers questioned the pair, they said they found two rocks of crack and a pipe.

DATELINE: Glen Burnie:

8000 block of Solley Road: April 23, entry through door. Jewelry taken. Loss: Unknown.

300 block of Oakmanor Drive: April 3, entry gained through the door. Unknown property taken.
