Chase Bank of Maryland has appointed Patrick J. Ventura to its board of directors. Ventura has served as controller of the bank since 1988 and was named financial executive in 1989.

Chase has named Noel Chesser and Keith A. Perry vice presidents of finance.

Legg Mason Wood Walker has named Jay R. Leopold associate vice president in the Research Department.

Image Dynamics Inc. has promoted Tracey L. Weinberg to senior account supervisor and director of meetings and special events.

At Hartt and Co., Mary Cook has been promoted to advertising account executive and Cami Colarossi, to public relations account executive. Liz Pettengill joined the firm as public relations account supervisor.

Kaiser Associates has named Donna R. Foley senior account executive. Previously she was with Barton Dame Inc. EA Engineering, Science and Technology Inc. has appointed Thomas R. Hundt to manager, environmental engineering, and Thomas M. Simpson to manager, solid waste/sanitary engineering, both for EA Mid-Atlantic regional operations. Hundt has a doctorate in environmental engineering. Robert P. Newman has been appointed manager, air programs, as part of EA's effort to expand services in air quality assessment and emissions control.


Mark Fisher has been appointed electrical project manager and Kathy Shaffer, accounting manager, at Spears/Votta & Associates Inc., which provides mechanical and electrical design services to architects, developers and contractors.

Dr. David Solomon has been appointed senior vice president, medical staff relations and quality assurance at Baltimore County General Hospital. He joins the hospital's executive staff from his Owings Mills-based private practice, which specializes in gynecology.

James A. Johnson has been named a partner with Semmes, Bowen & Semmes. A former educator, he practices in the areas of business litigation and maritime and international law. Cross Keys Inn has named Luetta Delrez as director of catering. Previously she was catering director at the Sheraton Hotel in Marietta, Ga.

Yvette Larkin has been promoted to manager of community initiatives and Judy Pittman, to manager of the Resources Center, at United Way of Central Maryland.

The Baltimore office of Women in Community Service has named Carol R. Swersky admissions representative for Jobs Corps centers in the Mid-Atlantic region.


William D. Pierce has been appointed to the newly created position of director-traffic and Alan W. Peck, to director-domestic pricing at CSX Intermodal, a CSX Corp. business unit that offers nationwide intermodal rail and truck services.

Mark W. Young has been promoted to Southeast regional sales director for CSX Intermodal and Robert M. Sales has been appointed director of sales for CMX Trucking, the company's drayage subsidiary.


Rill O'Brien has joined "All New 92 Star" radio as program director. Most recently he programmed KRXO Radio in Oklahoma City, Okla. Danny Ocean has joined the station's staff as the evening personality. Previously he was assistant promotions director and a weekend air personality at Z-100 Radio in New York.
