Maureen Hall had no trouble sleeping last weekend. When she wasn't running, she was watching the Baltimore Orioles at Memorial Stadium. And when she wasn't doing that, she was attending the Baltimore Road Runners Club's annual bull roast.
"Two races, two ballgames and a bull roast," said husband Nut Hall, who accompanied her to all five events. "She almost fell asleep at the second game."
The fast pace didn't seem to affect her running, though, as Hall finished second to Marge Rosasco in Saturday's Maryland Certified Public Accountants' 1040 8K and first in Sunday's Parkville Jaycees 5-Miler.
"I'm coming back," Hall said after her 31-minute, 15-second finish at Parkville. "Yesterday [Saturday] was evidence. I just wanted to use this [Parkville] as a training run."
