April 21, 1991|By New York Times News Service

Yields of money-market funds monitored by IBC/Donoghue's Money Fund Report were down for the second consecutive week in the period that ended Wednesday.

"This is turning out to be a stubborn recession," said Walter S. Frank, chief economist at IBC/Donoghue's, "so expect low rates to continue for awhile."

Tax-exempt money fund yields fell for the second straight week.
