APRIL 22-26:10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Howard Community College's Galleria will display an exhibit of environmental art works featuring more than 30 works by students and area residents. The show will be judged by Tara Moore, artist, writer and filmmaker, and Jane Winer, HCC assistant professor of art. The Galleria is located in the Science and Technology Building. APRIL 21-30: April has been designated "Tree-mendous Month" by Gov. William D. Schaefer. County residents are encouraged to plant trees. Coordinators are available to help groups or individuals organize tree plantings. Farmers can receive financial help for tree plantings. Information:974-3776.
