As the mother of an Old Mill (High School) wrestler, I would liketo thank Mr. Lem Satterfield for the excellent wrestling coverage heprovided this season. He is such a friendly, conscientious young manwho relates so well to the wrestlers.

Once, when my son was facing a very big match, Lem explained that he wanted to attend but had several other matches to cover that night and would try to arrive in time to catch him wrestle. Well, Lem didn't make the match, but at about 10:30 p.m. our phone rang. Lem interviewed Don over the phone, and the smile on my son's face was priceless. That call was the topping on a very special win for him.

Thank you for acknowledging the accomplishments of our team. It was appreciated by the athletesand parents as well.

Severna Park

Staff writer Samuel Goldreich wrote an interesting article describing how Harundale Presbyterian Church provides a weekly Thursday lunch for its guests (The Anne Arundel County Sun, March 31).

He mentioned that many of them also eat at the Salvation Army on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Credit should go to the following churches and individuals for providing those meals:

Glen Lutheran Church, Glen Burnie; Peace Lutheran Church, Ferndale; Pasadena United Lutheran Church, Pasadena. Also, Josephine Kenny, Mary Kelly and Flo Whitsell; Del and Drema Swope; Loud and Linda Bell; Jeanette Boushell;and Carolyn George. They have a turnover of

people helping out. Others come in when needed.

Peggy Vick is the executive director ofthe North County Salvation Army Family Service Center. It is at 7483Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. in Glen Burnie. Anyone who would like to contribute to this rewarding work can call her at 768-0477.

Rose Haven Civic Association

Elise Armacost wrote an excellent story about Rose Haven in the April 10 Anne Arundel County Sun.

Kim Hairston's photos were also first rate, especially the color photo on the cover. Elise absorbed a lot of information in a very short time and she reported it accurately and with just the right flair.

We appreciate it very much.
