Brian Shucker, 33, the lyricist and composer who created the score for the stage musical "Babes," died Friday at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif., from complications of acquired immune deficiency syndrome. Mr. Shucker was honored by Dramalogue and the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle for his score for "Babes."
