Residents To Air Substation Plan

April 16, 1991|By Staff report

Annapolis residents will have a chance to voice their opinions tonight on a proposed expansion of Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.'s TaylorAvenue substation.

BG & E has applied for conditional approval from the city to increase the transformer's power and to plant landscaping around the substation to screen it from residences.

The City Council will vote on BG & E's request next month.

Alderman Wayne C. Turner, R-Ward 6, will hold a community meeting tonight to talk with residents about the proposal. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Griscom Community Building in Truxtun Park on HilltopLane.
