Hope L. Russell has been named branch manager of Maryland National Bank's Beards Hill Plaza branch in Aberdeen.
Russell began her Maryland National Bank career in 1975 as a part-time teller at Havre de Grace's Post Road branch. She is a graduate of Havre de Grace High School and attended Harford Community College.
Prior to her new position, the Perryville resident was financial services manager at Maryland National Bank's Tollgate Road branch, Bel Air.
The Clorox Co. broke ground March 5 at the site of its planned $75 million, 360,000-square-foot productionand distribution center in Perryman. Construction is scheduled to begin immediately with work expected to be completed by early 1993.
The center will produce and distribute Clorox liquid bleach to Maryland and nearby states. The facility is expected to be fully operational by 1995.
The site is just south of Cranberry Run Industrial Parkon Perryman Road.
The facility is expected to provide 100 jobs with an annual payroll and benefits of up to $4 million. An annual county and state tax contribution of approximately $600,000 is anticipated.
LOWE NAMED PRESIDENT
Larry L. Lowe has been named president andchief executive officer of Bottcher America Corp. in Belcamp.
Prior to joining Bottcher in 1989 as senior vice president, he was president of Plasma Technics in Florida.
In his new position, Lowe replaced Edward R. Bellone, who retired after serving as president of Bottcher America since 1985.
Bottcher America Corp. manufactures rubber-covered rollers for printing and industrial markets.
Lowe and his wife, Carol, live in Fallston with their two children.
