Bullets preview

* WHEN: Tonight, 7:30.

* WHERE: Miami Arena.

* TV: Channel 20.

* RADIO: None.

* OUTLOOK: The Bullets (27-48) drag a three-game losing streak into Miami tonight, where they lost the season opener, 119-95. In fact, the Bullets are 1-2 against the Heat going into the fourth of their five meetings this season. It's one thing to be losing to Philadelphia and Chicago, but another to be losing to Miami, which at 22-53 has the worst record in the Eastern Conference.

Harvey Grant, averaging 18.1 points, continues to lead the Bullets while Bernard King recovers from lower back problems. Center Pervis Ellison continues to improve, even while the Bullets seem to be regressing as a group -- the road record is now 8-30 with five straight losses. Ellison scored a career-high 30 points against Indiana at the start of this four-game road trip and followed that up with 26 Monday in the team's 105-98 loss at Atlanta. He is averaging 21.4 points in his last five games and shooting a red-hot 68 percent from the field.
