Hot Time At Fire Hall With Dinner, Dancing

Put on your party clothes and tie on those dancing shoes.

You have several opportunities for fancy stepping and fine dining this weekend at the Westminster Fire Hall.

Twist around the room with Memory Lane from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. You will hear tunes from the 1950s and 1960s.

Cost is $7 andincludes beer and set ups.

Dinner will be served from 1 to 3 p.m.Sunday. Free Wheelin' provides country and rock sounds from 2 to 6 p.m. Cost is also $7.

Put your aprons away this weekend.

Breakfast on buckwheat pancakes and sausage from 6 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Benjamin Kriders United Church of Christ on Kriders ChurchRoad, Westminster.

Cost is $3.75 for adults and $2.75 for children. You also can take home some goodies from the baked table. Information: 857-5525.

Run your errands, then, drop in to the New Windsor Fire Hall, where they are serving turkey, ham and oysters for supper at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Cost is $8.50 for adults and $4 for children.

Carry-outs are available for $9. While you are there, treat yourself to some homemade cake and candy, too.

Sunday, rise, shine and dine at an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the Union Bridge Fire Hall from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Join the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce in a Media Appreciation Luncheon at noon Thursday.

Dine with the Carroll County Republican Central Committee at 6 p.m. Thursday. The committee plans the annual Legislative Wrap-up Dinner, featuring Republican members of the General Assembly, who will report on the 1991 session.

Reflect and listen with the Christian Women's Club of Westminster at 11:30 a.m. Friday. "Reflections"buffet features a guest soloist and speaker as well as demonstrations of stained glass craft.

Get into the community spirit 2 p.m. Saturday at North Carroll Library. The staff will show children, age 2 1/2 to 6, how to be "Community Helpers, A to Z," and the Hampstead Volunteer Fire Department will join theparty, too.
