Earth Month 1991 continues with community tree planting, recycling events, an environmental expo and even the Whole Earth Ball.


* Whole Earth Ball: The Liriodendron Foundation and the Susquehannock Environmental Center will co-sponsor a ball at the Liriodendron Mansion at 8 p.m. The environmentally themed event will feature dancing, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Dress is informal, with mad cap attire preferred. Admission $10. Call 838-6000, Ext. 339.

* Earthweek Expo: Liriodendron Mansion, 502 W. Gordon St., Bel Air. Noon to 5 p.m. Event features nature walks, displays and demonstrations, an art show and tree seedling give-away. Call 838-6000, Ext. 339.

* 92 Star Recycl-A-Thon: Eastern High School lot, across from Memorial Stadium. 8 a.m. to noon. Exhibits on recycling, Orioles Bird, marching band, Baltimore Blast mascot and cheerleaders. Call 523-6900.


* 92 Star Recycl-A-Thon: Owings Mills Metro Station Parking lot. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Displays and exhibits on recycling, entertainment. Call 523-6900.
