Bullets preview

April 02, 1991|By Sandra McKee

* WHEN: Tonight, 7:30.

* WHERE: Capital Centre.

* TV/RADIO: Home Team Sports; WTOP-AM 1500.

* OUTLOOK: The Bullets (26-45) have lost three in a row, including a 102-92 setback to Charlotte Sunday, and any combination of New York Knicks wins and Bullets losses totaling two will officially eliminate Washington from postseason play.

The Cavaliers (25-46), who also have lost three straight, will be without leading scorer Brad Daugherty (sprained right foot). The Bullets again will be without leading scorer Bernard King (back strain) and forward/center Charles Jones (pulled groin).

Although Cleveland won the last meeting between the teams, 102-95 at home last Thursday, the Cavs have lost six in a row on the road and are 8-29 away from home. The Bullets are 18-17 at home.
