GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS

This is a weekly summary of selected prime contracts recently awarded by the federal government to companies and other vendors in Maryland.

Maryland contracts

Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Linthicum won a $16,000,000 contract from the Air Force to provide for Radar Site 5 at Riohacha, Colombia, part of the Caribbean Basin Radar Network.

Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore won a $5,532,000 contract from the Navy to provide operation of the Chemical Propulsion Information Agency.

The Emmes Corp. in Potomac won a $2,014,812 contract from the National Institute of Child Health and Human

Development to provide a data coordinating center for the trial of calcium supplementation in pregnancy for the prevention of eclampsia and pre-term births.

Compuware Corp. in Bethesda won a $5,066,543 contract from the Office of Personnel Management to provide systems software support services.

McDonald and Eudy Printers in Temple Hills won a $108,480 contract from the U.S. Government Printing Office to provide offset printing services.
