* Navy Fireman Recruit John A. Wagner, son of Merle T. Wagner of BelAir and Ella S. Danenman of Jarrettsville, has completed recruit training at Recruit Training Command, San Diego.
During his eight-week training cycle, he studied general military subjects designed to prepare him for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy's 85 basic fields.
A 1987 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School, he joined the Navy in August 1990.
* Navy Seaman Recruit Michelle M. Hawkins, daughter of Carolyn Hawkins of Aberdeen, has completed recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Fla.
During her eight-week training cycle, she studied seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid.
A 1990 graduate of Harford Vocational Technical High School, she joined the Navy in August 1990.
TANK MANAGING OFFICER
Army Reserve 2nd Lt. Frank S. Hovatter has completed the tank-automotive materiel management officer basic course at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
The officer received instruction in leadership, management, unit administration, maintenance and nuclear-biological-chemical defense.
Hovatter is the son of Lupe Hovatter of Havre de Grace.
He is a 1985 graduate of Havre de Grace High School and a 1990 graduate of Drexel University.
RADIO SPECIALIST IN BERLIN
Air Force Senior Airman Lacy S. Gearheart, a ground radio communications specialist, has arrived for duty at Tempelhof Central Airport, Berlin, Germany.
A 1986 graduate of Joppatowne High School, Gearheart is the son of Richard and Virginia Gearheart of Joppatowne.
AIRMAN BASED OUT WEST
Air Force Airman James D. Rehbein, an apprentice avionic systems specialist, has arrived for duty at Holloman A.F.B., N.M.
The airman is the son of Karen and Barry Rehbein of Bel Air.
He is a 1990 graduate of Bel Air High.
HORSEY IS LIEUTENANT
Maria R. Horsey, daughter of Maurice and Hermoine Horsey, will begin her active duty service as a second lieutenant in the Army's Officer Basic Course at Fort McClellan, Ala.
Horsey is a graduate of St. Margaret School, North Harford High School, the College of Notre Dame and the Universityof Maryland.
She will use her background in chemistry, serving asan officer in the Chemical Corps at her new base station in South Korea.

Jean E. Mirabella has been promoted inthe U.S. Air Force to the rank of airman first class.
She is a printer systems operator at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
Mirabella is thedaughter of Florence M. and Peter D. Mirabella of Bel Air.
The airman is a 1989 graduate of C. Milton Wright High.
