Services will take place for Severna Park resident Wanitta R. Wier at 10 a.m. March 29 at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wier, 76, died of a heart attack March 26 at North Arundel Hospital.
A graduate of Western High School in Baltimore, she was employed by Western Electric for 19 years as a secretary until her retirement in 1958.
She was a volunteer for Anne Arundel Medical Center Auxiliary, a member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church and Severna ParkGarden Club.
Her other interests included playing bridge and traveling.
He husband, Robert S. Wier, died in 1983.
She is survived by a daughter, Judith D. Drinks of Annapolis; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

EMMA M. LUCE HOMEMAKER, 93
Services will takeplace for Glen Burnie resident Emma McMasters Luce at 11:30 a.m. March 30 at Homestead Presbyterian Church in Homestead, Pa.
Mrs. Luce, 93, died of a stroke March 26 at North Arundel Convalescent Center in Glen Burnie.
A lifelong resident of Homestead, Pa., Mrs. Luce was a member of Homestead United Presbyterian Church, the Garden Club of Munhall, Pa., and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Her other interests included gardening and painting with water colors.
Married in 1919, her husband, W. Harold Luce, died in 1978.
She is survived by a son, Don Luce of Severna Park; a foster brother, Charles Varner of Laurel; and two grandchildren.
