Jnf Plants Tree

War In The Gulf

March 28, 1991

Honor someone by having a tree planted in the Garden of Olives in the Holy Land. A certificate will be sent for each planting.

The Jewish National Fund is the sole agency responsible for planting trees in the Holy Land.

Since its founding in 1901, the JNF has planted 200 million trees, created over 125 parks and recreation areas, developed nature sites, and discovered new techniques in agriculture and water technology tore claim and forest the land.

This knowledge is shared throughout the world.

Trees planted in honor of U.S. soldiers in Operation Desert Storm may be planted in the American Independence Park near Jerusalem.

Individual trees to provide a living memorial for a loved one or to celebrate a special occasion may be purchased for $7 each.

To order a tree or for more information, call the JNF at 486-3317.
