Arthur S. Fitch Jr., a retired truck mechanic, died Saturday at his home in Ridge Manor, Fla., after a long illness. He was 65.
A mass of Christian burial for Mr. Fitch was being offered at 11 a.m. today at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Ridge Manor.
He moved from Dundalk to Florida three years ago after he retired from Baltimore Trucks Inc., where he had worked about 20 years.
The Baltimore native served in the Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, the former Bernadette M. Blickley; a son, Arthur S. Fitch 3rd of Berwick, Pa.; four daughters, Dorothy Ann Stewart of Kissimmee, Fla., Muryl Marie Horan of Ridge Manor, Barbara Jean Kanter of Bradenton, Fla., and Theresa Laura Mantle of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a brother, James J. Fitch of Baltimore; a sister, Mary Gertrude Taylor of Baltimore; and 11 grandchildren.
