A downtown Baltimore restaurant owner was accosted early today as he left his business and robbed of $7,200 in cash and jewelry.
Police said Emanual Politis, 38, co-owner of the Two Crazy Greeks carry-out and restaurant in the 1300 block of N. Charles St., was walking from his business about 3:50 a.m. carrying a green bank bag. He was confronted by two men who forced him back into the restaurant.
One man pointed a handgun at Politis, police said. The robbers grabbed the bank bag, containing $1,200, and took two bracelets, valued at $5,000, from Politis' wrist.
