Rosemarie Schwartz has been named corporate treasurer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland. She has more than 17 years experience in public accounting and banking.

Edward Patrick McDermott has become a limited partner in Weinberg & Green's Labor and Employment Law Department. He was formerly on the staff of the National Labor Relations Board and served as a labor relations attorney with Pan American World Airways in New York City.

Arthur R. Rose has become a limited partner in the firm's Corporate Department, and Mary T. Keating has become a limited partner in the Litigation Department.

At the Steamship Trade Association of Baltimore Inc., Gil A. Abramson has been appointed labor counsel. He is a member of the firm of Semmes, Bowen and Semmes.

William W. Carrier 3rd and Diane V. D'Aiutolo have joined Tydings & Rosenberg.

At Stegman & Co., Kenneth Snoots has been hired as a staff accountant in the Columbia and Greenbelt offices, Linda Bowen has been hired as a staff accountant in the Columbia office, and RTC E. Bruce Campbell has been hired as a staff accountant in the Baltimore office.


Brandebury Aerostructures Inc. of Easton has appointed Richard Bernstein as president. He replaced William B. Harvey, who resigned. Prior to acquiring the company last April, Bernstein was founder and chief executive officer of K&L Microwave of Salisbury.


Erick Svend Larsen has been named controller by the Central Maryland Red Cross. Peviously he was vice president-corporate controller for Jiffy Lube International.

Rhoda K. Posner has been appointed director of the district offices of Jewish Family Services.

Margaret Williams has been appointed director of programs for the Development Training Institute, a national organization headquartered in Baltimore. Its purpose is to train the leadership of community-based organizations in business, real estate, management and strategic planning skills.

Michael J. Riley has been promoted to senior vice president of the Daughters of Charity National Health System-East Region based in Linthicum.

Bernita C. Taylor M.D. has joined the staff of physicians at Maryland General Health Care Centers. She practices family medicine at the Catonsville walk-in center.

Jean Freed, R.N., has been appointed liaison nurse for the

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, working on the clinical team of the Admissions Department.

Loyola Federal Savings and Loan Association has promoted Gail Letts to senior vice president, community banking. Len Weinstein, former local sales manager for WMAR Channel 2, has been hired as the local sales manager for WNUV-TV54.

Inland Leidy Inc. has named Carl G. Cabel, Alan H. Deitch, and Barbara J. Kamysz sales representatives.
