Coach's outlook: "We have a lot more depth on attack than I ever remember. We have depth at every position; they're just untested in varsity games. We're still young in areas, on offense and defense. The midfield looks to be our strength. Our goal isto make the playoffs. Last year was the first year we didn't make it. I feel we're a playoff contender and will be in the thick of things."

Anne Arundel County Sun's outlook: Broadneck's ability to get back into the playoffs largely depends on the development of the players up from the county-champion junior varsity team. Otherwise, the Bruins appear solid, especially at midfield. Plus, they have an All-County defender in Bowman. And depth shouldn't present a problem. The move of Whynock from midfield to attack is a key, since White lost two-thirds of his starting attack unit to graduation. A strong playoff possibility.
