Baltimore City

THEFT: Western District -- While Officer Gregory Greene, of the Southwestern District, was chasing a wanted man in the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. Tuesday afternoon, someone entered the officer's unattended police car, took the keys from the ignition, opened the trunk and stole a police shotgun and 25 shotgun shells, all valued at more than $600. The thief left the keys in the trunk lock.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Judith Zabrowski, 30, of the 100 block of N. Kenwood Ave., reported she was walking in the 2000 block of E. Monument St. yesterday when a man approached her from behind and snatched her purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $70.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Portugal St. reported that someone broke into her home by forcing a bathroom window and stole a TV. A male acquaintance is being sought.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a dwelling in the 100 block of N. Collington Ave. through a basement window and stole property valued at more than $800.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police today were seeking two men who threatened an Emerald Cab Co. driver with a knife and robbed him of $100 in cash yesterday near the 6300 block of Cardiff Ave. One of the men held a knife against the cabbie's throat while the accomplice rifled the victim's pockets and took his wallet. The driver was not injured.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police responding to a burglary in the 1700 block of E. Lombard St. entered a house and arrested a 22-year-old man as an intruder. Nothing was reported missing. The suspect, a resident of the 5400 block of Gist Ave. in Pimlico, was being held pending charges.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Domenica Burton, 20, of the 4600 block of Marble Hall Road, reported she was in the 2000 block of E. Monument St. yesterday when a man armed with a handgun choked her and robbed her of jewelry valued at $100. The assailant was wearing a yellow and green jacket.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Michael Johnson, of the 2300 block of Montebello Ave., reported that a woman stabbed him in the left arm with a pair of scissors during a dispute near his home early yesterday. The woman, 42, was arrested and held pending charges.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Edward Roach, of the 2000 block of Belair Road, reported that on two occasions, someone removed two paychecks from his mailbox. Roach said the paychecks were removed on March 9 and March 16.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Henry Schlogel, of the 4300 block of Parkview Ave., reported that someone entered a boat stored in his back yard and stole property and equipment valued at nearly $1,700.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- An 8-year-old boy was riding his $70 bike near his home in the 4800 block of Truesdale Ave. when an older youth knocked him off the bike and stole it. The victim was not injured.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 7200 block of Jimrowe Court reported that someone broke into her apartment and stole property valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at nearly $800 was stolen from a dwelling in the 1600 block of Montpelier St. after someone gained entry through a basement door.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into an apartment in the 1700 block of E. 28th St. through a second-floor window and stole property valued at nearly $450.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Paul Silverman, of the 4100 block of Lochcarrow Road in Perry Hall reported he was at a bus stop in the 2100 block of Belair Road early yesterday when two men approached him. One man placed a hard object in his back and demanded his money, and the other assailant robbed him of $25 and his wristwatch.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Police responding to a shoplifting at the Ames department store in the 2500 block of Belair Road yesterday arrested two men who attempted to leave the store without paying for clothing valued at nearly $300. The men were being held pending a bail hearing in District Court.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Norris Booker, of the 5700 block of Sefton Ave., reported that a man stabbed him in the chest with a knife during an incident yesterday afternoon in the 1600 block of Homestead St. Booker was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at more than $400 was stolen from a dwelling in the 3400 block of Erdman Ave. yesterday after someone gained entry by breaking a basement door window.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 6500 block of Pioneer Drive reported that someone broke into her home through a door yesterday and stole a camera, a TV, a VCR and several pieces of jewelry, all valued at more than $4,000.
