Schaefer's treatment

It's your call

March 21, 1991

Gov. William Donald Schaefer has been the subject of many stories this winter. From his penchant for replying in person or by letter to Marylanders who have criticized him, to his decision to go to Kuwait during the legislative session, to his feud with legislators, the governor's actions have been written about. The governor has told editors and others that he thinks the media, including The Evening Sun, have treated him unfairly. We'd like your opinion.

Do you think the media have treated Schaefer unfairly, or not?

Please let us know by calling SUNDIAL. The call is local and must be made from a tone phone. The SUNDIAL number is 783-1800 or, in Anne Arundel County, 268-7736. When you reach SUNDIAL enter category 4600 and wait for instructions from the announcer. Call with your opinion between 10 a.m. and midnight. The results will be published in this section tomorrow.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as a scientific public opinion poll would be.
