County Bills Are Passed

ANNAPOLIS — Two Carroll delegation bills passed out of committee last week, including legislation designed to preserve the county's small, private cemeteries that was killed in committee last year.

The House Constitutional and Administrative Law Committee passed a bill allowing the County Commissioners to establish and operate public farmers' markets on county land. The House Economic Matters Committee passed the cemetery bill requiring owners of land containing a cemetery to record itslocation in court.
