* OUTLOOK: Blast defender Mike Stankovic will not play tonight because the team's appeal of a one-game suspension was denied. Stankovic was initially suspended last week and fined $1,000 for punching Tacoma's Steve Kinsey, Feb. 24. The fine was reduced to $500.

Dale Mitchell has 11 goals and 14 assists in his last 11 games and leads the team in scoring with 35 goals, 33 assists. Calvert Hall grad Chris Reif will make his hometown debut tonight. Reif has one goal and two assists in his first two games.

The Wings (17-27) activated goalkeeper Ron Fearon yesterday. Wichita is coming off a 10-2 loss at Cleveland. The Blast defeated Tacoma 5-4 in overtime Tuesday to end losing streaks of five games in a row and nine on the road.

The Sockers (28-15) are the only team to have clinched a playoff berth. Midfielder Branko Segota, who also was issued a one-game suspension and $1,000 fine for running into Kansas City goalkeeper Jim Gorsek, had his suspension lifted and the fine reduced to $350.

Former major-league pitcher Dave Dravecky will speak about his personal battle with cancer after Saturday's game.
